Problems with One Drive / Mac

I have a mac; i also have two separate one drive accounts - one personal and one work. Even though I am literally saving work in excel and word to my work one drive, when i try to upload a file into a shared work folder on Teams, my work one drive account does not show up - nor in my Finder, just my personal one drive. It is mind boggling how difficult this is to fix. Even though I have the One Drive app, when i click on this to try and find if its a setting issue, it just takes me to the folder on my mac which is One Drive - where, again, it just shows the contents of my personal One Drive.

    Dear Sarah KCX,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft community. We are delighted to offer our assistance.

Unlink your personal account first and check if you can open the work account folder in Teams:

    1. Click on the OneDrive icon in the menu bar on your Mac.
    2. Click on the three dots (...) in the upper-right corner of the OneDrive window.
    3. Select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu.
    4. Click on the "Account" tab.
    5. Click on "Unlink OneDrive" to sign out of your personal OneDrive account.

If this doesn't work, you can try resetting the OneDrive app on your Mac.

    1. Quit the OneDrive app by clicking on the OneDrive icon in the menu bar and selecting "Quit OneDrive".
    2. Open the Terminal app on your Mac.
    3. Type the following command and press Enter: "rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/OneDrive"
    4. Restart your Mac.
    5. Open the OneDrive app and sign in to your work OneDrive account.
    6. Try uploading the file to the shared work folder on Teams again.

If you are able to open the work account's OneDrive folder in Teams, sign in your personal account.

Hope you keep safe and healthy always.

    Sincerely,
