I have a question on adding new employees to security groups automatically to SharePoint sites etc. Ok, hopefully I can ask this where it makes since (I am a noob).
So our HR dept wants to audience target certain pages, document libraries (and maybe lists) on a SharePoint site that will eventually be built. Currently on our on-prem site, we have pages, doc libs, lists and web parts that certain locations can view but every week, they have to provide a list of new employees to us and where they reside (for ex., Joe Smith - Canada) and in turn I have to apply them to every security group and get them access which is tiresome.
We could apply all new employees to NT AUTHORITY\authenticated users (on-prem) and they would have auto access and I believe the same could be done with the "Everyone" group on O365 but our HR dept wants to be able to keep... let's say, the US and Canada docs separate cause of course those specific docs would only pertain to their specified locations.
But with SharePoint O365, is there a way this can be done by automatically applying new employees to groups and or maybe using audience targeting? If so, how would I even approach this? Please keep in mind I am really green... but I greatly appreciate your help and thanks for your understanding. :)
