Automatic task duration assignment based on Start-Finish of other tasks.

Hi there.

I have a project with various steps in sequence (predecessor and successor). All of these tasks are now complete, but I did not receive all of the updates for tasks 2 to 5, but have the actual start of task 1, and the actual finish of task 5. Is there a way that the tasks in between (non-critical) can be marked as complete, but not cause an overshoot on the task 5 actual completion date?

Thank you.

Etienne.

Not sure what you are asking for or why, but if the 31/01/2024 and 07/02/2024 finish dates are actuals, ie facts. then it is pretty difficult to see how you can change a fact.

Are they noncritical? Of course they can't be critical now because they are marked 100% complete, but if you removed the progress then they will be critical for sure.

Take the date constraint or progress off the airfreight milestone, then installation time cannot start until 07/02/2024.

As it is, that green vertical line looks like your current date, and everything left of that should be marked as finished, and if it is not finished it should be moved to the status date (or the current date).

    Any help?
