where do I create a shadow copy, where are they stored? In which path can I find them?

    We traditionally set one data drive and one VSS drive relationship.
    However, given our workload in Azure and the VM size has certain limit on the data disks, can we point multiple volumes into one VSS dedicate volume? Is this acceptable best practice by Microsoft?
    In addition, how many data drives can pointing to the VSS drive without affecting the performance, assuming Azure standard HDD is used?
    Example. Let say I have 4 data drives (f: g: h: i), each cap with 25 GB for the 100 GB VSS drive or it does not matter.

    Also, my understanding is that there are max of 64 shadow copies.
    If I have a 4 hours repeatable interval within the 12 hours windows, I assume that I will have about 16 days (64 / 4) worth of shadowcopy versions give and take depending on the size of data change. Can someone confirm this is correct?
