Remove a developer control from my workbook

I need to remove a developer control from my workbook, it is crashing my co-workers

    Right-click the control.

    Do you see a context menu and resize handles around the edge of the control?

    If so, it is a Form Control. Press Esc to dismiss the context menu, then press Delete to remove the control.

    Otherwise, it is an ActiveX Control.

    Activate the Developer tab of the ribbon, and click to highlight the Design Mode button in the Controls group.

    Click on the control to select it.

    Press Delete to remove the control.

    Finally, click Design Mode again to turn it off.
