Onedrive won't show me previews or let me add .tiff files > 100mb to photos or photo albums

Hello, I have 1 terabyte of storage with only 80gb used. I am trying to upload a set of .tiff photo files but I see no previews nor is onedrive letting me add them to photo albums like other .tiff files that are <= 100 mb.

I had planned on using my one drive account for my photography needs. Is no way for me to be able to categorize my raw photos while also being able to see their previews? Just naming them different names isn't enough as there's a large number of photos.

In the screenshot below, the three files with previews are 100mb can be added to photo albums but I can't do anything to get the previews for the others to load or add them to photo albums

Do the previews appear if you use Onedrive in Windows 11 File Explorer?

The previews show up but that's because I have the images downloaded on my PC. They do not appear on mobile either unless I download the file on my phone which ruins the whole point of me using the online storage if I need to download a file to view it. As a photographer, this makes the platform close to unusable as it's impossible for me to select a group of images without seeing the previews or even the images themselves. When I go to click an image on mobile it doesn't load and just shows me a blank preview with no image.
