After semi-annual enterprise 2308 is patch, my Excel has weird links from other files.
All these links and files can be from other sites or server which I do not know where it is.

When I downgrade to version 2302, all this links is not there.

I'm not able to post images.
Keep telling me something is wrong.

From your description, it seems bug. I'd suggest you create a support ticket to Microsoft.

Please contact your admin/IT department create a support ticket via Microsoft 365 Admin Center> Support> New service request. Support team there will have the correct channel and resources to help you investigate more and find what exactly the reason has caused this situation.

Same issue is being faced by several users from our organization as well. Mostly it is happening with Excel files which are on sharepoint. Getting random links of obsolete files. 2308 version's bug is really big.

I did post a support ticket but the support give me a stupid solution.

He ask me to delete the links. It can be done but not a solution to me. Imagine what if my staff has hundreds of files with this issue. .

I feel what they did is trying to faster close the ticket then resolving the bug that they has been causing.

Same issue for me with a new computer! I'm a Finance user not an IT person. I clicked Update Options/Latest version and it downgraded me to 2302 and all is back working well again. I hope that this is being addressed or has been addressed by Microsoft and isn't dumb luck on my end.
