Using hover smart tips with Excel on Mac

Hi there, Im working on Excel for mac, and I am unable to view the labels for things such as the color palettes. Does anyone know a fix?

I'm not sure how you're expected to provide a screen shot of something which doesn't exist. Even if you can it will not explain of why they are missing.

This is apparently a UI issue on Sonoma. There is no fix at the user level. It has to be addressed by the developers who are aware of it but have not yet delivered a fix. We'll have to wait for an update.

I'm sure it is important to some users but I doubt that the matter is being given a top priority since it doesn't involve crashes or data loss. You can add your voice to the chorus by using Help> Feedback in the Excel menu. It can also be reported to Apple using one of the methods here: Complain. The higher the volume of complaints the more likely it is to be addressed.

    This is a known issue which any regular contributor in the Mac Excel Communities should be fully aware. There is no such preference in current versions of the program.

    The preference for Function screen tips has no effect on anything other than what its name indicates.
