Based on your description, you encountered an error when using Visio. This message can occur when a background process or application prevents affected product from performing the requested task.
You can try the following steps to see the result:
- Close all other programs running in the background on your Windows to free up process.
- Make sure there are no dialog boxes open in other programs. For example, Microsoft Word may have a dialog box open that asks you to save a document etc.
- Turn off any unwanted background:
- Select Start, then select Settings > Privacy > Background apps.
- Under Background Apps, if Let apps run in the background is turned On, you’ll see the list of apps that are currently running in the background, please turn of the ones you don’t use.
