Source not found link cannot be removed

I have several financial worksheets that use a link to get the previous year's data so the worksheets are linked backwards by year. The first worksheet in the chain says it has a link to a file in the AppData\roaming\microsoft\excel directory. That file is indeed NOT in that directory. I cannot get rid of the "source not found" error. I tried searching for the link with the incorrect directory source in the workbook and cannot find it. I tried "Change Source" to change it to a file where my worksheets actually reside and it won't stick. I tried "Break Link" but it still shows up on the Edit Links dialog box. How do I get rid of this link so all the worksheets that reference back to it don't give me an error message when I open them and have the date updated? It's very annoying to get the error message every time.

Sometimes it's really hard to find the link, there are so many places in Excel where it can be.

    Try this AddIn: https://www.manville.org.uk/software/findlink.htm
