After a few quick saves on excel work, the quick save tells me that you can not save it because this is a read only file. In order to save the work i have to change the file name. I did not have this issue in older versions of excel. Is there any fix?

These are a few steps I recommend you try to resolve this issue: Restart excel, Close other applications, Save file with a new name or location.
