Simple branching sequence defaults to the next question on the form

I have a form with 4 sections. Section 1 is information about the person and the last question is to branch the user to only the section they choose. I set up the correct sectio for each section but it does not matter what option they choose, it defaults to the next question. Multiple answers option is off.

    Hi Sola,

Thank you for the speedy reply, I thought I attached the screenshot. I did those steps and it worked during the preview. Once I started collecting responses it did not work. I am sure there is a setting that's off but that's not it. I am attaching screenshot now.

    Hi Miralexis,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconveniences,

It sounds like you have not configured the branching options correctly for your form. Branching allows you to direct the respondents to different questions or sections based on their answers. However, you need to make sure that you select the appropriate destination for each answer option. Otherwise, the form will default to the next question or section in the order.

To fix this issue, you need to follow these steps:

    • Go to the question for which you want to add branching. Select More settings for question , and then choose Add branching.
    • On the Branching options page, select the drop-down list next to the answer option you want to branch. Select the question or section that you want to branch to. For example, if you have four sections and you want the respondents to choose one of them, you need to select the corresponding section for each answer option.
    • Repeat this process for each question or section that you want to branch. If you want a particular question or section assigned as the final one in the form, select the drop-down list next to that question or section, and then select End of the form.
    • When you are done, click Back to return to the normal design view. You can preview your form to test the branching logic.

Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

    Regards, Sola
