    Hello Simone J,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I am a Microsoft user just like you, I hope you are doing well.

Sorry for the inconvenience. However, OneDrive subscription is automatically activated upon purchase so can you please specify where you received this error?

Go to the Manage Subscription page (https://account.microsoft.com/services) and confirm that you have an active subscription in your account, share a screenshot. Then I suggest you check your storage space via Outlook Web:

    1. Go to Outlook.com and log in if prompted, at the top of the page select Settings gear icon. > Show all Outlook settings.
    2. Select Storage > General.

Share a screenshot of your metrics.
