If OneNote on your Mac isn't syncing to OneDrive, you can try Export as PDF: Navigate to the "File" menu>Choose "Print"> select the PDF drop-down menu at the bottom left corner>Click "Save as PDF" and choose a location to save the file.

or otherwise, you may need to use Manual Copy-Paste Method**:**

    Dear respected BenL_87,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, it seems that you want to Export your OneNote notebook on your Mac device. Firstly, may I know if my understanding is correct?

I'm Sorry and I'm afraid, in OneNote for Mac OS, the "Export" feature/option is not available. The "Export" feature/option is only available in OneNote 2016 app for Windows device.

If you have Windows OS, then using the OneNote 2016 for Windows application it is easy to Export/transfer your OneNote data from OneDrive for business (Accessing the Notebooks in OneDrive for business in Windows OS).

Using OneNote 365 app (formally called OneNote 2016) on Windows OS:

1.Open the notebooks from OneDrive for business (work/school account) in OneNote 2016 for Windows application.

    2.Click File>Export>Notebook>OneNote package>choose a local drive path (e.g. Desktop).

    Image

    1. Double click the notebook package on the Desktop. We will get a pop-up for un-packaging the notebook. Now you will get a new folder for this notebook.
    2. Open the Open Notebook in the un-packaged folder with OneNote desktop application.
    3. Click File>Share>choose another your OneDrive personal>Move.

To perform above steps, you need to have OneNote 2016 for Windows application. Refer to this article to install the OneNote 2016 for Windows application.

Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad

Is there another way to copy the data from the OneNote notebook on the Mac? My OneNote doesn't appear to be synced to OneDrive so I can't use the steps to export on a Windows PC

Create a new and syncable notebook. Then copy the sections. If not allowed (unsynced !) create new empty sections and copy the pages.
