No Reset Button or Section

In a word document, some text is in a column on the left of the page. This just happened. I didn't customise anything. I would l like to reset to default Word. I do not have a Rest button. I have gone to Option, Advanced, General. I do not have a reset section or button.al.

Put the Selection into that text and then go to the Layout tab of the ribbon and in hte Page Setup section, click on the Columns dropdown and then on One.
