Is it necessary to buy "M365 EDU A3 Unified ShrdSvr ALNG Subscription VL Per" while buying User license  "M365 EDU A5 Unified Suite p-up From M365 A3 ShrdSvr ALNG"?

Yes. I agree with you on that but when I asked my supplier he said you have to buy both licenses (A3+A5) if you want to upgrade A3 to A5. It is strange and now he sent me two invoices.

Doesn't make sense.
