Why does microsoft word keep automatically closing?

I'm typing a document in Microsoft word and it keeps closing on me. is there a setting to fix that?

    Can you try the below and give me a reply?

    We can clear out with the below if the problem is from the Office setup. Please do be patient with me as we try to get to the root of the problem if the online repair does not clear this.

    “1) Right Click on Start > Select Installed Apps or Apps and Features 2) Scroll down until you see Microsoft 365 en-us or your Office Version 3) Click more options ... (three dots) beside the Microsoft 365 en-us or your Office Version 4) Select Modify 5) Click Online Repair (this will take a while to be done) 6) Restart the device ””
