OneDrive search function not working

Question

A couple of days ago the search function in the iOS OneDrive app stoped to work for our organisation. We depend heavily on the service and need to get the function back. Have tried the obvious things as latest version of app en iOS but it doesn't help. Doing a search on my Mac OneDrive client in a folder gives me 30+ hits and a search in the same folder on a iOS device gives med 3 hits.

Any suggestions of what might be wrong?

Since the problem happens on the latest version of OneDrive app as well, I am afraid that the problem may be related to the backend. Given this situation, more resources need to be involved on the issue in your environment.
