How do I see hidden columns in Microsoft List?

I have a Microsoft List that I need to clean up. For one thing, my Microsoft List has hidden columns that I need to either delete or unhide and rename. How do I go about seeing hidden columns? If they are hidden, it seems that there is a series of menu options I need to click on in order to see it again. How do I do that?

When I click on "New" to input a new row, it seems that those hidden columns are there for use. So the input of a new row does not match the default row that I see in the List.

    Dear William Thompson,

    Good day!!

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

I understand your concern and since you mentioned you are able to see the columns when you click on the +New in the List of Microsoft Lists, I would like to suggest you follow the below steps and see whether you are able to see the columns which you want to delete:

Open the List in the Microsoft Lists> Settings> List Settings> Scroll down to the columns and see whether you are able to see the column you want to delete> If yes, click on the Column> Click on the Delete button to remove from the List.

However, if you want to delete the complete List, please follow the below steps:

Open the List in the Microsoft Lists> Settings> List Settings> Delete this List:

If there is any misunderstanding from our end, we apologize and request you to share the more details with some screenshots for better understanding and guide you further.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia

    Hi,

I also have the same question; however, from Sophia's guidance, after I opened the "List in the Microsoft Lists> Settings> List Settings> Scroll down to the columns and see whether you are able to see the column you want to delete> If yes, click on the Column> Click on the Delete button to remove from the List" I still can't see as the column is still hidden.

I found that there's an option to unhide the column by using +Add Column and you'll find the "Show or hide the column".

    I hope this help.

    Have a nice day.
