Hello - I have been using Excel 2010 for a long time with no problems. I recently bought a new computer that has Windows 11, and for the first 4 months or so, it worked normally, after I loaded Microsoft Office Professional 2010 as usual.

But now, suddenly, every time I do a copy of a large number of cells that contain formulas in Microsoft Excel (2010) the program freezes for about 10 to 50 seconds (as soon as I select the Copy button).

This is especially a problem whenever I am trying to do a copy - Paste Special Values of a large group of formulas.

Am hoping there is an easy fix, but not sure what to try. I already tried reinstalling Office, and removing the Show Paste Options button as well as the Live Preview option in settings but that did not help.

Thanks for any suggestions!

    A couple of things

Restart the PC, once fully loaded, repair Office,> Apps & Features>Select Office your version>Modify /Repair, once the repair completes re-test (Quick repair)

    In addition see this

By default, win 11 update auto updates only critical win updates, and nothing else unless you have made the mistake of selecting the "Get latest updates" option, and if you have turn it off.

You obtain both Bios & Drivers updates from the PC Maker, there should be a shortcut on your system to that makers update utility, and no other source.
