Double charged

I purchased Microsoft 365; then I received an email telling me the order was incomplete which was strange because earlier I had an email thanking me for the purchase. When I tried to correct it, I was charged again for the same amount. Instead of buying a one-year subscription to Microsoft 365, I was caused to purchase 2 years. I want the second charge cancelled immediately.

    Sorry for the inconvenience. First, you need to investigate this charge from your Microsoft billing history by signing into https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders. If you find this double charge, you need to contact Microsoft billing support to assist you investigate this double charge and to get a refund using the steps below:

    1. Go to http://support.office.com/home/chat
    2. Describe your issue (Double charge for Microsoft 365 subscription) and click 'Get Help'. Then scroll down to select Contact support.
    3. Select your product (Microsoft 365 and Office) and category (manage my subscription) > click Confirm.
    4. Click ‘Chat with support agent’ > Confirm.
    5. Click Start Chat.

    Keep in mind that this is a user-to-user community and we cannot access your account.

    Thank you for responding so quickly to my problem. I will follow your instructions and hope that handles the solution.

    After it happened, I wondered if it was a scam. I intend to follow up with the credit card company and deny the charge if I must.

    I was charged twice for my Personal Microsoft 365 program on February 12, 2024. I want second charge cancelled immediately.

    I was charged twice for my subscription the amount was $106.74. It was suppose to be $ 9.99 per month
