Microsoft Outlook on Android Won't Work with Microsoft Authenticator

I setup Microsoft Authenticator to be used with my hotmail.com account. Works great for Outlook on a PC, but I cannot get it to work for Outlook on my Android phone. Any assistance would be appreciated.
