Opening Visual Basic the project is locked.

The project is titled "VBAProject (SaveAsAdobePDF.xlam)" even if I open a new excel document. I dont know of any password I have put on and dont understand why its also a problem in new documents. I don't really know a lot about VBA yet so I'm afraid I have done something.

Disregard.

forced shutdown of all microsoft programs when they started to not respond properly, restarted computer and all seems to be well.

Probably should have started there.

Thank you Diane.

Hey Diane, thank you for that.

The next issue I have run into though is that was the only folder/macro/module in the project window, there is nothing else displayed here.

Trying to record Macros gives me a pop up alert saying "Unable to Record".

I haven't been able to find any solutions anywhere online elsewhere as of yet.

Opening previous document that used macros were unable to open and had to remove parts of the document to open properly.

"Removed Part: /xl/vbaProject.bin part. (Visual Basic for Applications (VBA))"

The code for these documents are super basic, naming the sheets from value in cell.

Hi, I'm Diane and I'm happy to help you today.

That is an add-in that was install by Acrobat. You can't open it - if you don't use and it's causing errors, you can disable it on the Developer tab > Excel add-ins.

Let me know how it goes, I'm here to help you further if needed.
