Dear Julie Biesiada
It's possible that the sorting settings were saved in a custom view or filter. To remove the sorting, you can try the following steps:
- Open the Excel file and select the data range that is sorted.
- Click on the "Data" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on the "Sort & Filter" button and select "Clear".
- If the sorting is still present, try removing any custom views or filters that may be applied. To do this, click on the "View" tab in the ribbon and select "Custom Views". From there, you can delete any custom views that may be affecting the sorting.
If the issue persists, you can try resetting the Excel settings to their default values. To do this, close all Excel files and open the "Run" dialog box by pressing the Windows key + R. Type "excel.exe /resetuserdata" and press Enter. This will reset all Excel settings to their default values.
Regards,
Stacey
