Hi, I went to save an Excel document and was asked to log in since cached credentials have expired. I logged in. I was asked to log in again so I'm not sure what this loop is all about. I cannot save any changes to a document.. Please advise...thanks

    Dear Imane El-Ghoudani

    Good day!

Another possibility is that there is a problem with the connection to the server due to the network environment. I want to confirm if you switch a network environment, such as a mobile phone hotspot, will you still encounter this phenomenon?

If you switch your phone hotspot and you still experience this phenomenon, could you please try creating a new local environment to see if you can avoid this phenomenon? Create a user account in Windows - Microsoft Support

We look forward to your reply. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, I followed the steps as described but nothing has changed.

What do you think could be the issue for me to be kicked out of it in the first place as this is the first time I am experiencing such an issue.

    Thanks,

    Imane

    Dear Imane El-Ghoudani

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Please try removing Office 365 credentials from Windows:

    To do that:

    • Close all Microsoft Office apps
    • Access control panel, click on User accounts
    • Select Credential Manager.
    • Locate any entries that start with MicrosoftOffice or OneDrive, select them individually, and click on Remove.
    • Close the Control Panel window. - Launch any of the Office apps and sign in back.

If you try the above suggestions and still experience this phenomenon, it is possible that the license file has been corrupted, if this is the case, try to reset the activation status of Office: Reset activation state for Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise - Microsoft 365 Apps | Microsoft Learn

We look forward to your reply. Thanks for your cooperation.
