Hi,
What will happen if you click on Cancel when you open the PDF with Word? Will Word just stop opening that PDF?

Hi Community,
I have facing an issue from past few months, I have my issue below and also the techniques I have used to correct it but no results.
My Issue:
Let Say,
I open a new MS Word 2019 file and copy-pasted images from google or any search enginer or any image extracted using snipping tool into MS word 2019 file , then i exported it to pdf .
Now i deleted the word file and only pdf file is saved in the computer.
Now to open the pdf file as word i am following the below steps
select pdf file > right mouse click>open with> choose another app > word
My problem is that after following this procedure instead of opening images as it is in word it is converting the images to editable text.
*However, earlier when i started using MS Word 2019 it not used to happen, But from few months this has become a terrible problem for me*

(I tried uploading screenshots in this directly but it seems to have any problem. So i have uploaded the screenshots on google drive on this above link. i know it is a bit trouble but this was the only alternative i found)
Coming back to the problem...
Methods i have tried to resolve my issue:
1 . Uninstall and re install Microsoft 365 and Office
3 . checked the Default App for ".pdf" extension . it is set to Adobe Acrobat
**IMPORTANT**
There are few things i suspect, that can help understand my problem
Here is my problem Its opening for disscussion.
I would love to hear from you all and hope to find a permant solution to it
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

Hi, I am a Microsoft user just like yourself, not Microsoft staff and I will try my best to help you as much as I can today.
Disable OCR in MS Word Open MS Word: Open MS Word 2019. Go to File: Click on File > Options. Go to Advanced: In the Word Options dialog, select Advanced. Disable PDF/A Support: Scroll down to the PDF section. Uncheck the box for Use online OCR when opening a PDF file. Click OK: Click OK to save the changes.
Method 2: Use Different Conversion Method Online PDF to Word Converter: Use an online PDF to Word converter that does not apply OCR. This will preserve the images as they are. Adobe Acrobat: Use Adobe Acrobat to convert the PDF to Word, making sure to select the option that preserves the layout and formatting.
Method 3: Check UiPath Studio Settings Open UiPath Studio: Open UiPath Studio and check if any settings related to PDF or OCR have been modified. Disable OCR: If there are any OCR-related settings in UiPath Studio, try disabling them.
Method 4: Reinstall MS Word Uninstall MS Word: Uninstall MS Word 2019 from your computer. Download and Install MS Word: Download the latest version of MS Word from the Microsoft website and install it.
Method 5: Use Third-Party Software Use Third-Party Software: Use third-party software like Adobe Acrobat or Foxit PhantomPDF to convert the PDF to Word, making sure to select the option that preserves the layout and formatting.
See if that helps! Please let us know if you have any questions. Microsoft Support is available for further assistance if the issue continues.
Best regards Deeksha
