Syncronize OneDrive for Android on shared folders

Dear colleagues,

First, let me apologize if the same question was already answered or addressed by any of you.

We have an internal request in our organization as we'd like three different devices with three users who are using Android plus OneDrive for the Android app, when they take a photo with their camera, those photos can synchronize on the same shared folder.

I've been surfing the community plus checking some of the app settings but I only realized that all the photos are going to the personal OneDrive folder (where later the user can share it with others to collaborate). However, there's no way I can choose where those pictures should sync.

Is there a way where we can fulfill this request? Or are the Android photos/albums used to be stored in each personal user folder?

Should we then assume that the unique way to acknowledge this business function is to use the same user for all the mobile devices that want to collaborate?

Thanks to everyone for your valuable answers & suggestions :-)

    Dear Jordi Lopez,

    Good day!!

I understand your concern and to my knowledge, when the Camera Backup feature is enabled on the OneDrive app on the mobile devices, the camera photos on the mobile devices are directly uploaded to the Camera Roll folder and there is no setting to change the location of the folder.

I agree with you having the ability to change the location for the Camera Backup feature on the OneDrive app on the mobile devices will benefit the users and I suggest you to add your valuable feedback in the OneDrive · Community (microsoft.com) which is the best place to share our ideas and improve the Microsoft products.

Moreover, I believe you can setup the custom Power Automate flow to move the camera photos that are uploaded to Camera Roll folder to the shared folders automatically and I would like to suggest you give a shot by posting your concern in the Microsoft Power Automate Community - Power Platform Community to get the detailed help from the Power Automate experts on the possibility of your requirement.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
