Hi All,
I'm currently having difficulties with sharing Word documents to individuals within and outside my organisation.
The issue occurs when I use the Share function in the top right hand side in the Word Desktop app. Basically when I click Share -> Share, and share the document via the dialogue box, the email which is sent to members in the particular group limits access to the document to only direct recipients of the email only which I did not explicitly select to do (see image 1). Whereas when my colleagues send using the same function it looks like this (see image 2).
Going back to my share dialogue box (image 3) when I compare it to my colleagues same dialogue box (image 4), I notice that the words "Anyone with this link" in the bottom left corner is missing from my box. Also I notice that I have the word "invite" in blue rather than "share". I have tried editing the setting in the gear symbol beside "copy link" however this changes nothing.
As you can see in image 3 I don't have the gear icon to change sharing settings so I'm lost as to how I can change the settings since the copy link settings do nothing
My question is how I can go from the situation in image 3 (my computer) to image 4 (my colleagues setup)
