Yes, what seems to be a temporary solution is to unlink your OneDrive from your Windows PC: Right-click the OneDrive Icon> Click Settings> Settings> Click on Unlink the PC

I don't have One Drive installed but I also have the problem.
This didn't help me. I disconnected one drive from my PC, but the same issue. No history showing except the 3 documents that are shown in One Drive. No history of recently used files. And no pinned files. This is very frustrating.
