Hi there,

How can I create a table that allows me to select multiple labels in a single cell? For example, In the screenshot I've attached I'd like to be able to include multiple cells in a single cell for certain positions:

My plan would also be to include multiple locations for a single position if necessary.

Any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello Darren,

I am not really vast with Microsoft loop but I will do my best to provide your answers or possible answers.

To select multiple labels in a table in Microsoft Loop, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open the Loop Page: Navigate to the Loop page containing the table you want to work with.
    2. Select Labels: Click on the first label you want to select in the table.
    3. Multi-Select: Hold down the Ctrl key (or Cmd key on Mac) and click on additional labels you wish to select.

If you want to create a “Label” column type in a table, which makes it easier to add labels to a cell:

    1. Click the down arrow in the column header.
    2. Go to “Change column type.”
    3. Then select “Label” from the options1.

Remember, labels in Microsoft Loop allow you to tag table cells, list items, and other elements within your Loop component. They help you and your team to update each other on the progress of a project or set the priority level of a particular task. You can also create custom label groups with different options and colors.

Creating a table in Microsoft Loop that allows you to select multiple labels in a single cell is currently not supported as a direct feature. However, you can use a workaround by creating a “Label” column type and then manually adding multiple labels to a cell.

The steps below is how you can do it:

    1. Create a Table: In your Loop page, create a table by typing /table and hitting Enter.
    2. Add a Label Column: Click the down arrow in the column header, go to “Change column type,” and then select “Label” from the options.
    3. Add Labels to a Cell: Click on a cell in the “Label” column, type /label, and select or create the label you want to add. Repeat this process to add multiple labels to the same cell.

Remember, while you can add multiple labels to a cell, they will not be individually selectable like a checkbox or multi-select dropdown. Each label will be added as a separate entity within the cell, and you can remove them individually if needed.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Kind regards, Adebayo
