Unable to add a trusted location to excel

Hello. I am trying to add a file related to the sales department as a trusted location, and I followed the instructions provided on this website, however I am getting a notification saying that the path I have used cannot be used for security reasons.

I had just clicked on the folder normally from the pop-up menu, so I am unsure how I can change the 'path' or add that trusted location.

Same issue with my boss's excel.

Thanks.

Could you share us a screenshot of your notification and the path you are adding?

File >Option> Trust Center>Trust Locations>Add new location...>Browser the folder you want to add.

I added the location of the folder in 2 different ways and I still get this message. I have the option of enabling macros on too.

There is a macro bug in sepcial version. You may try rollback to previous version.
