SoC Subsystems battery drain during sleep - Surface Pro 7

Hello,

I have a problem with my Microsoft Surface Pro 7 running on Windows 10 Home when closing the lid (putting it in sleep mode, not hibernation). The problem seems to mainly appear after having it connected to an HDMI device/beamer.

The laptop experiences a significant battery drain during that time when it is in sleep mode - to the extent that it always shuts down completely with 0% battery life left if I don´t charge it before.
I have performed multiple sleep study reports, and the problem always seems to be connected to some SoC subsystems and NoHwDrips...whatever that means...but it basically leaves the laptop 100% active during a time where it should "sleep".

Initially I thought this issue would have to do with the computer still being connected to WiFi - but I disabled that function already during sleep, so that can´t be the issue anymore.

Does anyone have any advice for me on how to solve this issue? It´s super annoying...

Thanks in advance,
