Excel doesn't show small numbers

If i have to do the moltiplication between 0.004 and 5 I get the error : #VALUE! while if I do the 5*90 no problem, it shows the output.

How can I fix this?

Also when I write in a cell 1.225 excel automatically turns it in 1, how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

The number 1.225 still is shown in the bar on the top but not on the page with the cells.

That's a different story, format the cells as General or any number format you like or create your own number format.

Create a custom number format - Excel

BTW, the "bar on the top" with the fx on the left is called "formula bar". The page with the cells is called "worksheet" or "sheet".

    Andreas.

    1point2 turns into 1comma?

Yes I did it, but it doesn't change. The number 1.225 still is shown in the bar on the top but not on the page with the cells.

Also still have this problem with moltiplication with small numbers.
