Excel Scripts functionality not in Word/PowerPoint

With the push in my employer to Excel Scripts whilst Blocking VBA across all Office (unless a Digital Signature is available) then there is a gap in document production/automation.

When could Scripts be rolled out to other Microsoft Office products as Power Automate is too high a level for the VBA functionality in Word/PowerPoint?

Thanks for the response and I will post on the link you provided as it is definitely a useful feature needed for document Templates, Proforma and for manipulation of database exports into a published report.
