MS Excel Printer Department Code problems

Good day

We have users printing to one printer and they have to print using a department code. If I create an Excel document and send it to a colleague of mine via email, my colleague must then enter my department code when he/she prints the document. All other MS Office documents automatically change the department code to the current user on the pc. The Excel documents remembers the user printing code from who it came. Is there a way to fix the issue, as staff send and receive various documents that need to be printed and when they try to print the document using their department code, the document is not there. They must then go back to the document and manually change the printing code under the printing preferences in order to send the print job to their code.

Kind regards

The setting should be controlled by printer setting instead of Excel. You may find help from your local IT.

    Thank you for your understanding.
