    Thanks for the screenshot.

Could you please check the file extension? If the file is with 'xlsx' format, kindly copy it to desktop and change it from '.xlsx' to '.xls' and give a try.

    Regards, Ravi

    Hello Natalie,

Thank you for reaching out to this forum. As a fellow Microsoft user, I'm here and ready to help you out today.

Have you saved your file in OneDrive? If yes, please try to access file history. Try to locate the file from version history. With version history, you can see and restore older versions of your files stored in OneDrive. Please verify the steps here - https://support.microsoft.com/office/159cad6d-d76e-4981-88ef-de6e96c93893

If the backup not available in OneDrive, Could you please try to recover the corrupted excel?

    1. Click File > Open.
    2. Click the location and folder that contains the corrupted workbook.
    3. In the Open dialog box, select the corrupted workbook.
    4. Click the arrow next to the Open button, and then click Open and Repair.

Details in below link - https://support.microsoft.com/office/153a45f4-6cab-44b1-93ca-801ddcd4ea53

If you could locate the file, try opening Excel in safe mode. You can open Excel in safe mode by pressing and holding Ctrl while you start the program, or by using the /safe switch (excel.exe /safe) when you start the program from the command line.

Hope this information would be useful to you. Please feel free to get back if you need any additional info.
