Microsoft Loop desktop app for MacOS

Thank you for writing us here in Microsoft Community.

I just want to let you know that loop is still in BETA that still needed for feedback and improvement for the app to fix the problems and add more feature. Currently, there is no dedicated desktop client for Microsoft Loop on Windows or macOS. However, you can use it in the cloud for free during the preview period if you have a Microsoft account. This means it works on both Intel Macs and Apple Silicon M1/M2 Mac's. Loop is will on web base.

Thank you for your reply.

Loop app is only for business. See link: Compare All Microsoft 365 Plans | Microsoft and Loop access via Microsoft 365 subscriptions - Microsoft Support. For consumer or that has no license it is still not available.
