basic authentication certificate for active sync

I have correctly configured ActiveSync certificate-based authentication, however, when I tested it on my iPhone mobile device, I encountered these error logs on the server (server exchange 2010) :

    My name is David and I'd love to help. I understand your frustration and will do my best to resolve this issue.

    Here is a solution to the issue you are facing. If the customer is using Intune to manage the device, advise them to create a new configuration policy for an iOS Trusted Root Certificate that points to the Intermediate Certificate Authorities' *. CER file. Then, advise them to open the company portal on the device and refresh the policy. The connection should now succeed.
