Planner Notifications

Hi

I am trying to introduce Planner with my team but I have come across a couple of hurdles...

(1) When I copy a plan it doesn't copy the people allocated to a template plan. Maybe when offering the things to copy across it should give the option for people allocations?

(2) Notifications are on by default for each member so I am reluctant to use the software and flood everyone's inbox alerting them that they have new tasks or when we edit the tasks, they are notified. It is too much! Is there a way to turn notifications off at a plan level?

Thanks.

    Dear respected Derek,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Based on the description shared, I would like to let you know that Copy Plan in the Plan of the Microsoft Planner will not copy the members of the Plan and here is the reference: Copy a plan - Microsoft Support

I suggest you to take this idea to the related development team by adding it as a feedback in Planner · Community (microsoft.com) which is the best place to share our ideas and improve the Microsoft products.'

Regarding the Notification in the Plan, please check the following article: Manage Planner notifications - Microsoft Support

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,
