power query missing

hi, i am on macos sonoma and i have a local excel version on my computer plus microsoft 365 and i can't import data from another excel workbook, the option is just not there!

Microsoft 365 and Office | Excel | Other | MacOS

    Hi

    You may or may not have PowerQuery depending on the version you installed and your license type.

    Please use the Menu Bar in Excel and choose Excel > About Microsoft Excel. This displays the version and license type. What do you have?
