MFA Issues - no answer with Technical Support

I have a Microsoft 365 business account and just recently purchased a new phone, which for some reason Authenticator is not working for it. Basically my options are get a number from Authenticator (which it won't do) or get a code from Authenticator (again, same issue). I've called support at least ten times, get transferred to technical support and then sit on hold (as of my 10th call right now, I've been on hold for over an hour). I can't get into my business account because of this idiotic MFA and Authenticator issue.

Is there anyone at Microsoft that can actually help me? Does anyone actually work in technical support?

    How can it take a few weeks to reset MFA?

    If your ticket has already escalated to the data protection team, it may take a few weeks to resolve it.
