How do you enable horizontal scrolling with mouse in Excel?

Hi, I have just connected new mouse with horizontal scrolling. I cannot get it working in Excel. It works in Word, ppt, Chrome/Edge with no problem. I tried to use the tip with holding Shift button but all it does is group or ungroup rows. I tried also Mouse and Keyboard Centre but my mouse is not recognized. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Andrzej

Holding Ctrl+Shift and rotating the wheel gives the same effect as the one I have already described, which is grouping and ungrouping rows (those which were already grouped before). It doesn't scroll horizontally the screen. I am using Microsoft Office 365 on desktop, not sure if it helps.

It could be your keyboard setting is changed or mouse setting is changed.

Hmm do you know how to fix that? I tried different set up of the keyboard (polish, Eng US, Eng UK) but it doesn't change anything.

One thing though on Ctrl+shift+scroll - it only groups or ungroups rows which were already grouped. It doesn't create new group. If I do that combination on a cell which is in ungrouped row it doesn't do anything.

    I haven't met such issue.

You may create a new thread in windows to fix keyboard settings.
