Combine Specific data from multiple excel sheets into one central excel sheet for analysing

Hello

I am an L&D officer needing help to combine specific data from multiple knowledge & skills Matrix's across the organisation into one excel sheet so I can analyse the date from an L&D perspective.

Each role has a knowledge & skills matrix, an employee is added to the relevant role and then the matrix is completed. There is a section for training needs for that person / role. I need to collate the training section for each role, centrally, so I can analyse / prioritise the training needed & provide costs to leadership.

How do I collate this part of the matrix from multiple excel documents / tabs into one document and is there a way to automate any changes that occur. The matrix layout shows the training courses down the left side and the employee names going across the top. I need to extract:

Training course name

status "not completed"

Employee name

Any help for the best and most effective way to do this is really appreciated. I am working from Windows 10. I have tried to paste a screenshot of the matrix but I keep getting an error.

Thanks

    Hi,

Upload the file to Google Drive/One drive and share the download link. In another tab of the workbook, show the expected result very clearly.

    Hi

I am unable to give anyone access to documents outside my authority. I do have a 'dummy' document I can attach however I cant see an option to upload a document.

Is there a way we can privately share email contact?

    Thanks

Could you share us a test file with some dummy data? Then we may have a try.

For sharing a sample workbook, upload to OneDrive or any other cloud drives. Then post a link here.
