Office 365 Printing Problems when Show Comments is enabled

Working on a computer that the end-user is using the Word 365 desktop client app. In the event that he has a document that he has track changes and comments on said document and keeps Show Comments on when he prints, it will print in landscape mode no matter what. If I Show Comments is turned off, it will print in portrait mode and be just fine. This is to any printer including the MS PDF printer and Adobe PDF printer. If I take the same doc and open it on another computer, any computer, it will print in portrait mode just fine.

I have run the quick repair and the full repair which didn't fix the issue. What else could be causing this? I really don't want to completely uninstall Office 365 from his computer and reinstall it but if that is the only next step, then I have no choice but I am hoping to find something here.

    Hi @BigJay2100 ,
    Wlecome to Q&A forum!

Does not it work even if it is set to Portrait in the Print settings?
Please press Ctrl + P to check whether the preview result of the page is landscape or portrait.

And I would suggest you compare the page settings and printer properties of this computer with another normal computer to check if a setting is causing this issue. (All page settings should be A4 size and portrait. )
Press Ctrl + P, check the settings in Page Setup and Printer Properties.

If the above do not work, please create a new document and add some comments or changes, and share the test result with us.
Any updates, please let me know.

Thank you for the response but why should this be set to A4 paper size?

I checked both the printer settings and the page setup and the print screen. Everything is set to Portrait and Letter 8.5" x 11" for paper size.

In the Advanced Track Changes Options dialog box, make sure that the "Preserve" option is selected (to display the dialog box, click the dialog launcher arrow in the Tracking group on the Review tab and then click Advanced Options).
