    Dear respected,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Generally, when you click "Open in Excel" in a form, it should automatically refresh live data connection, and any new response data in your form will be reflected in the workbook so data won't get missing.

Since it seems like some data is missing, kindly check if suggestions in the official article will support on your scenario:

How to get missing data in Forms - Microsoft Support

We appreciate your understanding that sometimes the initial suggestions may not resolve the problem very soon. However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, please kindly provide more information below to let us work further.

    1. If the data missing issue happens on various forms instead of specific ones.
    2. If other users will face the same behaviour when they open the workbook by clicking "Open results in Excel".
    3. If it will persist on Excel online. Introducing Forms data sync to Excel - Microsoft Community Hub.

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Mia | Microsoft Moderator
