I cannot reproduce your issue. When I save as a new file, the option keeps.

Have you tried copying the file instead of saving as?

Could you also share us your office version?

I apologize for not explaining properly. I have several worksheets and I will make a copy of one of the worksheets into a new workbook and the settings do not save.

"Set precision as displayed" is workbook level option. Copy one of the sheets to another workbook will not keep the setting. You may need to check the option again.
