How to pasta data validation table- when paste special doesn't work?

I have two files that live in sharepoint/teams. I exported the excel files to my desktop excel "app". One file has a validation table that I am trying to get into the other file. I have attempted paste special validation and it won't work. Any other ideas to get the table to the other file? I really don't want to rebuild the data table.

    1. You may try opening both file in desktop application and paste the data validation table.
    2. You may try copy entire worksheet to another workbook.

    Right Click "sheet name" > Move or Copy > Check “Create a copy”

    To Book: choose the workbook name you want to move the table.
