SSRS report and subreport running in ReportViewer

If I run a report in ReportViewer in the Local Mode - no SSRS Server can I have a subreport? If yes where woud the subreport come from?

    Hi @mark goldin ,

    I did some test locally, it is possible to run a report with subreport without SSRS server.

    You may use rdlc report to meet your requirement, here is a tutorial for your referenceļ¼šRDLC SubReport for ReportViewer in Visual Studio

    Also you could try with this which is a same issue as yours to see if it is helpful.

    You drop the subreport control on your report. Then fill in the subreport name and specify parameters if any.
