Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

we keep getting payment reminder emails from Microsoft even though the payment has been made on 29th February 2024.

We had some credit left in the account and made the full payment deducting the credit in the payment advice.

But we keep getting billing payment reminder emails from Microsoft.

How we stop this reminder.

I followed through the steps below but cannot apply any payments in Microsoft 365 admin center.

  1. Log in to your Microsoft 365 admin center using your admin credentials.
  2. Go to the Billing > Bills page.
  3. Check if the payment has been applied to the correct invoice. If not, you can apply the payment to the correct invoice.
  4. If the payment has been applied to the correct invoice, you can try refreshing the page or logging out and logging back in to see if the reminder emails stop.

After the payment on 29^th^ Feb, as of today on our accounts we do not have any outstanding invoices, and does it mean payment reminder emails going to stop?

    Dear Ini Nkanga,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

Based on your description, you are still receiving payment reminder emails from Microsoft after paying. If you have already made the payment and it has been applied to the correct invoice, then the reminder emails should stop.

However, it may take some time for the system to update and stop sending the reminders. I would suggest waiting a few more days to see if the reminders stop. If they do not, you can contact Microsoft billing support directly to have them investigate the issue further and ensure that the reminders are stopped. You may go to Office 365 Admin Center-> Support-> New Service Request. The support engineers there have the correct escalation channel, and this is the most efficient way to report such issue. You can refer to this article to check the way how to raise a ticket: Ways to contact support for business products - Admin help. The engineers in billing team have higher permission and resources than us to help check the root cause from background directly.

Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I hope the information helps! If there is any update or I misunderstand you, please feel free to let me know. I will continue to assist you. Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated.

Thanks for your precious time. Have a nice day.

    Sincerely,

    Sherry | Microsoft Community Moderator
