Share documents without exposing the library.

Question

I am trying to all users to view specific documents using a direct link. if the user X's out, it brings them to the library. How can I restrict users to view just the doucment?

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

I understand your concern and to my knowledge, if you want to share a folder in your Document Library without exposing the Document Library, I am sorry to convey that the requirement you are looking is not possible because the sharing feature or Grant Access feature will show the Document Library name but the shared users will not be able to access the content which wasn’t shared.

Moreover, if you share an individual file with Anyone link, the users won’t able to find the Document Library.

I agree with you having the ability to prevent the Document Library name visibility for the shared users in the SharePoint Online will benefit the users and I suggest you to add your valuable idea as feedback in the SharePoint · Community (microsoft.com) which is the best place to share our ideas and improve the Microsoft products.
